The Lake Park Jr. Open is an annual 18-hole junior golf tournament held at Lake Park Golf Course on Friday, July 17, 2026. The event features a shotgun start at 9:00 AM with check-in at 8:30 AM. There are two age groups: 10 & under and 11-17. The three lowest scores in each age bracket will win golf prizes, and overall winners in each age bracket will be named Lake Park Junior Open Champion and receive a champion trophy. The tournament includes hole contests. The entry fee is $20 if registered by July 16, 2026, or $15 early bird fee if registered by July 10, 2026. The fee includes lunch, contests, and prizes. Registration requires completing the Junior Golf Open 2026 Registration Form and emailing it to dylan.kuffell@dpparks.org. Forms and fees can be returned to Lake Park Clubhouse (1015 Howard Ave) or Golf Center Des Plaines (353 N River Rd).
