The Sagebrush BBQ & Grill hosts the annual Sagebrush Western Charity Scramble Golf Tournament (also known as the Taking Steps for Cancer Golf Tournament), benefiting the Taking Steps for Cancer fund operated by Mountain Family Center. The tournament takes place on Thursday, August 20, 2026, with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start. Entry is per team and includes a round of golf with a cart, lunch, numerous prizes and contests, and an awards party. 100% of proceeds go to the charity fund. The event is open to the public.
