Strelasund - Inselcourse

Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany

The 18-hole Strelasund-Inselcourse is a par 71 layout named after the islands and peninsulas of the Strelasund and adjacent waters. The course features individually designed greens that enhance the playing experience, characterized by pot bunkers, large undulating greens, waste areas, and three significant water hazards including a distinctive island green. Mature trees throughout the course add to its natural appeal. The layout accommodates golfers of all skill levels. Beginners will find the course welcoming, while more experienced players are challenged on the back nine, where precision and tactical play become essential. The combination of water features, strategic bunker placement, and complex green contours demands careful course management and shot-making accuracy, particularly in the second half of the round. The course design successfully balances accessibility with challenge, making it suitable for both casual and competitive play.
