The competition is open to visitors and members. Greenfee players are welcome and must book in advance via the caddiemaster. Visitors require a WHS handicap of 28.0 or lower. The club welcomes non-members, with a limit of 5 rounds per year for non-registered golfers. Golf attire is required, and players are asked to repair pitchmarks and replace divots.

The clubhouse, known as Hole 19, is recognized for its culinary hospitality and offers scenic vistas over the course. De Hoge Kleij ranked ninth in the 2025 top 10 list of Dutch golf courses. The course features two tees (Tee 1 and Tee 10) and hosts various competitive tournaments including club championships and team competitions. Visitors must maintain a WHS handicap of 28.0 or lower and can play Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, or after 15:00 on weekends. The course is fully equipped with trolleys, hand carts, and a practice range.
