Traigh Golf Course

Arisaig, Highland, Scotland

Traigh Golf Course is a nine-hole links course set in a stunning Highland location on the Scottish mainland's west coast, near Arisaig. Playing to par 68, this testing links course sits above gleaming white sandy beaches with panoramic views westward to the Small Islands of Eigg, Rum, and Muck, and northward to the Cuillin mountains of Skye. The dramatic landscape is framed by the Craig Mhor ridge to the east. The course rewards accurate shotmaking, presenting all the challenges of a classic seaside links while remaining accessible to golfers of all abilities. The competitive course record of 67 reflects its demanding layout. Traigh was remade in the early 1990s and has gained significant recognition, ranked 42nd in Golf Magazine's 50 Best 9-hole Courses worldwide and included in Golf Monthly's 20 Courses to Play in 2017. The course exemplifies subtle design that balances challenge with playability, offering what many consider one of the world's most beautifully situated golf experiences.
