1st round of the 19th Seniors Trophy

The 1st round of the 19th Seniors Trophy at Golf du Chambon-sur-Lignon, held on Thursday 27 August 2026. This is a stroke-play individual competition played over 36 holes (18 holes per day) across two rounds on 27 and 28 August 2026. The event is open to amateur golfers aged 50 or over (born before 27 August 1976) who hold a valid FFGF (or recognised foreign federation) licence with current medical clearance and federal playing rights. Entry fee is €90 for adults or €40 for golf club subscribers. Maximum 120 players are accepted, with a minimum of 33 ladies required (excluding wild cards, of which up to 12 are permitted). Players are selected by order of index, National Senior Merit ranking, index, and date of receipt of entry. Women play from the red tees (V markers) and men from the yellow tees (III markers), with three divisions each: Seniors, Seniors 2, and Seniors 3. Entries must be submitted by post to the Golf du Chambon-sur-Lignon, accompanied by the entry fee, with a deadline of Wednesday 12 August 2026. The selected player list and waiting list will be published on the club website on Monday 17 August 2026. Prize presentations follow by a cocktail 30 minutes after the last players return. The top three men and women across all series, plus the first player in each Seniors 2 and Seniors 3 series, receive prizes.
