Elmgreen Golf Club hosts an Open Singles competition on Wednesdays and Fridays. This individual strokeplay event is open to members and visitors alike. Entry fees are €5 for members, €23 for pay-and-play members, and €27 for visitors. The fee includes a round of golf on the championship course and the opportunity to win prizes. Visitors are welcome to book online via the club's tee time booking system.

Elmgreen Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course situated in Dublin 15, located just off the M50 motorway on the city's periphery. Designed by renowned Irish architect Eddie Hackett, the course is set within a secluded estate featuring mature forestry and tree-lined fairways, offering magnificent views of the Dublin mountains. The course has undergone significant recent improvements, including a €500,000 renovation project that enhanced both on-course and off-course facilities. The layout takes advantage of its leafy suburban setting to create a challenging yet enjoyable playing experience. Elmgreen is characterized by its well-maintained parkland design, combining natural landscaping elements with strategic course management. The mature trees and fairway configuration provide a moderately challenging round for golfers of varying abilities. The course features a driving range and pitch and putt facilities, complementing the main 18-hole layout. The club offers coaching services and maintains a clubhouse with pro shop and café facilities. It hosts society outings and tournaments, including singles competitions, and welcomes both members and visitors throughout the week.
