Mercedes-Benz After Work Golf Cup

The Mercedes-Benz After Work Golf Cup is a weekly 9-hole Stableford competition held at Golfodrom Engled (Golfplatz Engled) as part of Germany's largest 9-hole tournament series, running from May 4 to October 16, 2026. The event on August 19, 2026, starts at 17:00 with a cannon start. The competition is open to all golfers holding an official handicap from a DGV-affiliated club or national golf union, with amateur status required. Maximum 50 participants per event, with a waiting list maintained if full. Entries are made exclusively online via www.awgc.de by 12:00 on the day before the tournament. Entry fees vary by category: members pay €24, hotel guests (Maximilian, Fürstenhof, Das Ludwig) and guests of Gutshöfe Brunnwies, Penning, Uttlau pay €44, general guests including green fee pay €49, and youths pay €19. The event features one net handicap category. Prizes are awarded for gross scoring (1st place) and net scoring (1st-3rd places), with a special Hole-in-One prize. Joint gross and net scoring applies for both men and women, with double prize exclusion (gross before net). Tie-breaks are decided by the best scores on holes 1, 18, 3, 16, 5, 14, 7, 12, 9, then further by 1, 18, 3, or by lot. Results are reported to the DGV and international golf associations. Players are grouped by handicap index (mixed high-low). Golf carts can be reserved until the entry deadline. The prize-giving takes place immediately after the competition in the Restaurant Holzmichl, where all participants are invited to a shared meal. Registration at www.awgc.de also enters participants into a draw for weekly, monthly, and annual prizes worth over €250,000 in total. Rankings are published on www.awgc.de.
