Monday Cup

The Monday Cup (Mandagscup) is a weekly 9-hole competition held at Krokhol Golfklubb on Monday evenings throughout the season with a shotgun start from different holes. Start time is 18:00 (one hour earlier in autumn). All golfers are welcome, from single-digit handicappers to 54-handicap players. Members with and without playing rights have priority, but members from other clubs are accepted if space is available (maximum 48 participants). Entry is made through Golfbox. The event is coordinated by Dag Raaum and Linda Martinsen. Prizes include ball prizes and birdie gift vouchers. The top 10 results count towards the season-long Orders of Merit with points awarded as follows: 1st place 12 points, 2nd 10, 3rd 8, 4th 7, down to 10th place 1 point. Tie-breakers are determined by lowest playing handicap, then mathematical calculation based on the last 36, 18, 9, 6, 3, or 1 rounds, followed by a draw if necessary.
