The Open 4-Ball Texas Scramble takes place at Wells Golf Club, Blackheath Lane, Wells, Somerset on Friday 14 August 2026. Teams of four (any combination of men and ladies) compete using the Texas Scramble format with medal (strokeplay) scoring. Men play off White tees and ladies off Red tees. Handicap allowance is 25%/20%/15%/10% applied from the lowest to highest playing handicap within the team. Playing handicap limits: Men 28, Ladies 36. iGolf handicaps and Society-associated players should refer to the Terms & Conditions for eligibility details. Entry fee is £44 per person (£176 per team), which includes coffee and a bacon roll on arrival plus a meal from the specials board after play. Members pay £20 per person. All prizes are vouchers redeemable at Wells Golf Club (Pro Shop and Clubhouse). A Best Gross Score Prize is included for 2026.
