This is a one-day junior golf tournament for players ages 5-18, part of the U.S. Kids Golf Pittsburgh Summer/Fall Tour series. The event is designed for young golfers to compete in age-appropriate competition and earn points toward local tour standings. Players may qualify for higher-level events such as State Invitationals and Regional Championships through the Priority Status system. In 1988, the course underwent an expansion that blended the original holes with new ones, creating the current layout.
