ŠilEx Open Series 2026

The ŠilEx Open Series 2026 is the 10th anniversary edition of open golf tournaments organized by Park Golf Club Ostrava (PGCOV). This popular series offers a sporting challenge for players of all ability levels in the unique setting of the castle park in Šilheřovice. The fourth tournament in the series takes place on July 19, 2026 (Sunday) with sponsor Portugal Víno. Players are divided into categories based on their current handicap on the day of the tournament. Category A (handicap +9 to 12) plays strokeplay net score, while Categories B (handicap 12.1-20) and C (handicap 20.1-54, with a 36 handicap limit) play stableford net score. Tee boxes vary by category: Category A uses white tees for men and blue for women; Categories B and C use yellow for men and red for women. The series uses combined scoring based on performance (net and gross) and loyalty points for participation. The absolute series winner receives free club membership contributions for the 2027 season. Prizes for individual tournaments are sponsored by PGCOV partners. Entry is open to visitors and non-members. The tournament features a staggered start (postupný start).
