The Ringer Score is an individual stableford competition held at Golf AGS (Association Golfique de Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire). Players compete to improve their hole-by-hole score across the series, with results calculated by the FFG RMS competition software. The competition runs from July 19 to August 31, 2026, with both 18-hole and 9-hole competitions on Saturdays and Sundays, starting at 9:00 AM with tee times every 10 minutes. Entries close at noon on the Friday before each competition. Registration is available online via Prima or at the club reception. All amateur golfers with an active FFG golf license and valid medical certificate are eligible. Non-members can enter by paying the green-fee (€7 for members, €10 for non-members). Players must have paid their entry fee for results to be counted. The series includes separate men's and women's series based on handicap index, with different tee markers for each series. Prize presentation takes place at the final 9-hole competition on August 31, 2026, with the sponsor Optic 2000. Winners are rewarded in both gross and net categories, with prizes retained if absent. Tie-breaks follow priority order: most Eagles, then Birdies, then Pars, then most competitions entered, then best Ringer scores on holes 9, 6, and 3.

Golf AGS

Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire, Pays de la Loire, France

Golf AGS is situated on Île Pinette, a natural island in the Loire River and a NATURA 2000 protected site near Nantes, France. Located just 10 minutes from Nantes railway station, the course offers scenic views along the Loire with the church steeple of Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire visible throughout play. The course emphasizes natural landscape management and sustainability. Fairways feature endemic vegetation in their natural state, with only greens formally seeded. Water conservation is prioritized, with irrigation limited to greens and pre-greens representing just 2% of total course area. The facility employs organic fertilizers on greens and uses authorized phytosanitary products sparingly. Golf AGS has achieved silver-level biodiversity certification from the French Golf Federation, renewed in 2025, demonstrating commitment to wildlife habitat preservation through late mowing practices, hedgerow implementation, and insect houses. The course caters to diverse skill levels through its golf school for ages 7-17, beginner animations, competitive events, and a dedicated paragolf section for disabled golfers. An FFgolf license is required to play.
