The Junior Jamboree Golf Day 2026 is a multi-event day for junior golfers held at Etchinghill Golf Club on Sunday 16th August 2026. The main competition is the Junior Open, an 18-hole strokeplay event for juniors with an official WHS handicap, priced at £15 per junior which includes a burger and fries after play. Tee times start from 10:30am. Additionally, there is a free 9-hole stableford competition on the Valley Course for course-competent juniors with tee times from 1pm, and a free two-ball Texas Scramble on the Academy Course suitable for all abilities. Fun non-competitive activities including putting competitions, Trackman range competitions, and nearest-the-pin contests in the Trackman Simulator run from 10am to 4pm with no entry required. A BBQ and games are available from midday until 4pm. Prizes are awarded for gross and net scores in the Junior Open, as well as nearest-the-pin and longest drive. Tee times will be published 10 days before the event.

The Leas Course at Etchinghill Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course measuring 6,101 yards with a par of 70, comprising five par 3s, ten par 4s, and three par 5s. The course is located on the Canterbury Road near Etchinghill in Folkestone, Kent, set within 200 acres of rolling Kentish countryside overlooking the Elham Valley. The Leas Course features a dramatic hillside layout carved into the terrain, offering challenging play through distinctive geography. The course includes a signature hole—a 225-yard par 3 that provides stunning views of the Elham Valley with a steep descent to a green protected by water. The course opened in May 1995 as the original 18-hole layout at Etchinghill Golf Club and has developed a solid reputation among both members and visiting golfers for providing an accessible and enjoyable golfing experience. Etchinghill Golf Club is a 27-hole facility that also includes a 9-hole Valley Course and an Academy Course. The club welcomes players of all abilities, from beginners to experienced golfers, and offers extensive supporting facilities including a driving range, putting green, clubhouse with catering, and function areas.
