Greenkeepers' Charity

The third Greenkeepers' Charity tournament takes place on Saturday, 22 July at Golfclub Osnabrück-Dütetal e.V. in support of SCHAKI e.V. Osnabrück, the Paderborn women's shelter, Lippstadt children's home, and the Regenbogen initiative for unplanned pregnancies. Participants start after a breakfast buffet in desired flights from 10:00 in a Texas Scramble format. The course features an altered hole sequence: holes 1-4, then 10-18, then 5-9. Greens 4 and 15 feature particularly difficult pin placements (Greenkeepers' Revenge). Hole 15 includes Nearest to the Pin and Longest Drive contests. A halfway refreshment is available on hole 15, along with a Gin & Tonic bar. At the final green, players are greeted with music and drinks. A BBQ buffet follows. The prize-giving ceremony with raffle and auction is expected from 18:00 to 21:00. All proceeds go to the listed charities. The entry fee of €60 for guests (€40 for members) includes a €15 donation. Bar payment only; drinks not included in entry fee. Registration is available by phone, email, or via the club's registration list.
