The Spark Golf League is a weekly 9-hole social golf league held at White Pines Golf Club in Bensenville, Illinois. The league runs on Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m. from April 15 through September 2, 2026. Players can join as individuals or with a partner. The league uses a relaxed set of rules designed for pace of play and enjoyment, including simplified hole scoring with a maximum score display, lie improvement in the fairway, and relaxed lost ball procedures. Each round features a team game using net best ball format (2-person teams where the better net score counts) and an individual net score game. Handicaps are provided and adjusted automatically by Spark Golf based on player scores—no existing handicap is required to join. Players enter their scores via the Spark Golf app or mobile website as they play, with live leaderboards tracking progress. The league also offers skins competition each round. Registration is free, and players only pay for rounds they play. Space is limited to 28 players per round, with registration deadlines typically at 10:00 a.m. on the day of play. Weekly greens fees are $31 per round, with an additional $11 cart fee.
