Kapuskasing Golf Club

Kapuskasing, Ontario, Canada

Founded in 1937, Kapuskasing Golf Club is a 9-hole course located in the heart of Kapuskasing, Ontario. The layout presents moderate challenge with fast-paced greens and strategically placed hazards and sand traps featured on nearly every hole. The course showcases the region's characteristic wooded terrain, with gentle elevation changes throughout the round. The fairways are relatively narrow, complemented by moderate-sized greens that demand precision play. The setting reflects the natural landscape of northern Ontario, with trees defining the playing corridors and creating an engaging natural environment. The course design accommodates golfers of all skill levels while maintaining sufficient difficulty to challenge experienced players. The combination of wooded setting, subtle topography, and strategic hazard placement creates a well-rounded layout typical of regional courses in the area. The club also features a recently renovated clubhouse with modern amenities, including dining facilities and event space, making it a community golf destination beyond the course itself.
