Friday Night Couples Golf is a mixed couples event held at Thorncreek Golf Course. The 2026 season runs on May 15th, May 29th, June 12th, June 26th, July 10th, July 24th, August 7th, and August 21st. Each event costs $115 per couple, which includes 9 holes with a cart, a game, and appetizers following play. Registration opens one week prior to each event at 10am, with a deadline of one day before the event at 10am. The event is limited to 64 players (32 couples), and additional couples are added to a waitlist once the limit is reached. Ladies tee off from the #5 tee box and men from the #3 tee box unless otherwise specified. Event formats are posted during registration.

Thorncreek Golf Course is an 18-hole public golf course located in Thornton, Colorado at 13555 Washington Street. The course features a full practice facility including an 80-yard wide range tee with seven bentgrass target greens at varying distances, plus a 13,000 square foot putting green. The facility underwent significant renovation and clubhouse improvements from October 2016 through July 2018. The course offers both 18-hole and 9-hole play options with dynamic, demand-based pricing that adjusts in real-time based on availability and demand. Golf carts and club rentals are available. Thorncreek provides multiple amenities including a golf shop, on-site dining at Soderberg's Bar & Grill, and a range of instructional programs including golf lessons and clinics. The course accommodates various player demographics with senior rates for those 62 and over, resident discounts, and junior programs. Annual membership passes are available for different play frequencies. The course is operated by the City of Thornton Parks and Recreation department.
