Handsworth Golf Club, founded in 1895, is a parkland course located in Handsworth Wood, Birmingham. The mature, tree-lined course measures 6,362 yards from the white tees and plays to a par 70, comprising four par 3s, twelve par 4s, and two par 5s. The longest hole is the par 5 eighteenth at 504 yards. The course is characterized by good doglegs, elevated tees, and strategically placed fairway bunkers, with subtly undulating greens that demand precision and strategic play. Notable features include a lake that comes into play near the opening hole and mature trees throughout. Recent significant investment has included three new holes designed by Jonathan Gaunt.
