The PGA Scramble presented by BMW is a local qualifier for Canada's largest grassroots amateur golf program. Open to all amateur golfers aged 19 or older with an active Golf Canada membership and Golf Canada Handicap Index. Teams of four amateurs compete in a scramble format (all team members tee off each hole; the team chooses the best shot and all play from that spot; each player's tee shot must be used at least three times per round). PGA Professionals who are employees of the host facility may also participate. The event is held at Yellowknife Golf Club on July 18, 2026, with 9:00am tee times. Teams must have an aggregate Golf Canada Handicap Index between 32.0 and 112.0, with no more than two players having a handicap of 9.9 or less. Registration is conducted online via www.pgascramble.com. The event requires participants to hold an official Golf Canada handicap.

Notable holes include the par-5 finishing hole with a double dogleg design, the demanding par-4 1st hole with a sharp dogleg, and the scenic par-3 11th with its elevated back tee overlooking Long Lake. The course layout includes some newer holes designed to enhance playability. Wind conditions significantly impact club selection, particularly on elevated holes. The course accommodates both members and non-members with varied booking windows.
