The Cobh Claret Open Singles Series is a weekly qualifying competition held at Cobh Golf Club, sponsored by Mercedes-Benz Cork. The series runs from June through September 2026, with qualifying rounds taking place every Wednesday until 9th September. Players compete in Singles Stableford format from the White Tees. Entry fees are €10 for members and €30 for visitors. Bookings for each week's competition open on the preceding Wednesday at 8am. Qualification for the Grand Final on Saturday, 19th September is determined by each player's best three Stableford scores from the qualifying period, with the top twenty qualifiers (and any ties) earning a place in the Finals Day event. Prizes are awarded weekly throughout the qualifying stages, with additional prizes on Finals Day.

Recent course improvements include reconstruction of tee boxes on holes 6, 10, and 12, completed in 2025.
