Mill Creek Golf Club

Mill Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole public course located in Ostrander, Ohio, designed by Bill Black and opened in 1972. Playing at 6,300 yards from the back tees, the course presents an interesting contrast: while its length appeals to seniors and beginners, the hard, fast greens and tight fairways create a formidable challenge for golfers of all skill levels. The course incorporates water hazards on several holes and strategically placed bunkers throughout the layout. The 17th hole stands as one of the course's signature features, requiring an uphill tee shot through a narrow tree-lined tunnel to an elevated green at only 160 yards. This scenic design element exemplifies the course's integration of natural beauty with strategic challenge. Mill Creek is family-owned and operated, earning a strong local reputation for maintaining enjoyable playing conditions and a welcoming atmosphere. The course is notably the home club of Major Champion Ben Curtis, who learned to play golf at Mill Creek.
