The 2nd Annual Kara Welsh Legacy Golf Tournament is a charity golf event held at Twin Lakes Country Club on August 29, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM. The tournament supports the Kara Welsh Legacy Scholarship for students at UW-Whitewater. Kara Welsh was a UW-Whitewater student whose life was tragically cut short. The event features 4-person scramble format with 18 holes, including a cart, tee gift, lunch, and dinner at the Red Barn. Golf tickets are priced at $125 per person, with a dinner-only option available for $40. Various sponsorship opportunities are also available, ranging from $100 to $2,500, including hole signage, beverage cart naming, golf cart naming, and reserved tables. The event runs from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Volunteers are welcome to sign up and assist with the event.
