Golf Bluegreen Lac au Duc Ploërmel

Bretagne, France

Golf Bluegreen Lac au Duc Ploërmel is a 9-hole course designed by architect Yves Bureau in 1994, located near the legendary Forest of Brocéliande between Rennes and Vannes in Brittany. The par-36 layout extends 2,935 meters and is uniquely positioned between land, water, and forest, elegantly bordering one of Brittany's largest lakes. The course features narrow corridors, varied greens, and strategic water hazards that add challenge throughout play. The lake's proximity creates additional difficulty while contributing to the course's scenic appeal. The terrain is known for its tranquility and accessibility to golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players. Notable features include the Lac au Duc itself, a green cycling path nearby, and the Hydrangea Path (Chemin des Hortensias) that borders the course. The course remains uncrowded year-round, offering a peaceful golfing experience. The design successfully balances simplicity with technical elements, making it an attractive destination for various player abilities.
