Golf des Arcs

Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France

Golf des Arcs is a mountain golf course located at 1,800 meters altitude in Les Arcs, Savoie, France, overlooking the Tarentaise Valley with views of Mont-Blanc. The course features two layouts: the 18-hole Chantel course (par 70, 5,540 meters) and the 9-hole Beauchet course (par 27, 860 meters), spread across 60 hectares near Vanoise National Park. Originally constructed in 1974 and redesigned in 1990 by architect Robert Berthet, the course tests all skill levels from driving and long game to short game and putting. The Chantel course is officially certified by the French Golf Federation, while the Beauchet course is particularly suited for beginners with shorter holes and smaller greens. The dramatic alpine setting provides breathtaking scenery, making it a distinctive high-altitude golf destination that showcases its designers' original vision for the resort.
