The Scroungers Mixed Competition is a recurring weekly golf event held at Lancelin Golf Club, open to both members and visitors. The course is closed on competition days but visitors are welcome to join. Thursdays: 9-hole competition, registration at 13:30 for a 14:00 tee-off. Sundays: 18-hole competition, registration at 11:30 for a 12:00 tee-off; also a 9-hole option at 13:30 for 14:00. Entry fees are $10 for members and $15 for visitors (flat rate). Payment can be made online via the club's pay-and-play system or at the honour box. Walk-up play is welcome — visitors can turn up, pay fees at the honour box by the golf range, or pay online. The Lancelin Golf Club is an 18-hole natural dunes links course located 2km south of the Lancelin townsite, 130km north of Perth, offering spectacular ocean views and elevated tees and greens. The course is managed and maintained wholly by volunteers. New members are encouraged with great rates available.

Lancelin Golf Club is an 18-hole links course located 2km south of Lancelin townsite and 130km north of Perth, Western Australia. Set in a natural dunes landscape, the course features reticulated fairways with elevated tees and greens offering spectacular ocean views. Originally configured as a 9-hole course, it can now be played as a full 18-hole layout using recently installed additional tees. The course is recognized as one of the most challenging on the West Coast, presenting a demanding test of golf with its links-style terrain and coastal setting. Founded in 1980, Lancelin Golf Club welcomes both members and visitors, with flexible play options for individuals and groups. The course is entirely maintained by dedicated volunteers who manage fairway and green upkeep. Players can arrange casual rounds or book ahead for larger groups, with online payment options available for green fees and memberships. The club hosts regular competitions including the Scroungers Mixed Competition on Thursdays and Sundays.
