Friday Skins Game

The Friday Skins Game is a weekly individual skins competition open to all golf members and guests at Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club. The 2026 season runs every Friday from April 10 to August 21, with exceptions for weeks hosting special events. Players must have a current GHIN handicap number; those without one play at a 0 handicap. A minimum of two players is required per group. Participants book their own tee times and must tee off by 1:00 p.m. The weekly buy-in is $55 (cash only), with $50 going into the net skins game pot (played at full handicap with half-stroke adjustments) and $5 contributing to the end-of-season finale. Tee recommendations vary by age and gender: men under 50 play the Blue tees, men 50+ may choose Blue or White, men 70+ may choose Blue, White, or Green; ladies under 70 play the Green or front Combo tees, and ladies 70+ may choose Green, front Combo, or Gold. A running point system tracks season-long performance (1 point for participation, 5 for a net skin, 20 for a hole-in-one). Players who compete in at least four regular-season weeks are invited to the End of Season Finale on September 5, 2026, with a $100 buy-in and a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start for the top 20 points leaders.
