Spark Golf Thursday League

The Spark Golf Thursday League is a weekly 9-hole social golf league held at Riverside Golf Club in Grand Prairie, Texas. Rounds are played on Thursdays from May through September 2026, with tee times starting at 5:00 PM. Entry costs $33 per player, which includes a golf cart. Registration closes at 10:00 AM on the day of play. Each round accommodates up to 20 players (reduced to 12 for the final two rounds in August and September). Players enter their scores via the Spark Golf app or mobile website as they play, with a live leaderboard tracking progress. The league features both an individual game and a 2-person team game using a net best ball (betterball) format — each player plays their own ball, and the team score for each hole is the better of the two net scores. Handicaps are provided through the Spark Golf system, so no existing handicap is required. Joining the league is free; players only pay for the rounds they play. The event is open to all golfers regardless of skill level or membership status. Skins are also available each round, awarded to the individual with the lowest non-tied net score on a hole.
