Jazz Scramble

Jazz Scramble is a pairs handicap strokeplay scramble tournament held at Kalafornia Golf (Suisto-Joki courses) in Pori on Sunday 19 July 2026, starting at 9:00 AM. Organized by Porin Golfkerho ry as part of the Pori Jazz week celebrations. Men play from yellow tees (rating 57), women from red tees (rating 48). Maximum handicap is 36, with handicap calculation at 35% of the lower handicap plus 15% of the higher handicap combined. The tournament is limited to 40 pairs on a first-come, first-served basis. Entry fee is 65 EUR for non-member adults (member prices vary: Large membership 27 EUR, Medium 39 EUR, Mini 45 EUR, Junior 18 EUR; non-playing members 65 EUR, junior non-playing 26 EUR). The entry fee includes a meal. Electronic scoring via Golf GameBook and/or paper scorecards are accepted. Expected round time is maximum 4 hours 45 minutes. In the event of a tie in the handicap competition, the team with the lower exact handicap wins. Prizes are available at the clubhouse during opening hours after the competition. Entries close on 17 July 2026 at 23:59. R&A/USGA Golf Rules 2023 and PGK local rules 2025 apply.
