Weekly Golf Round 18

Veckogolfen (Weekly Golf) is a 21-week strokeplay series played on Thursdays at Jarlabanke Golfklubb's 9-hole Prästgården course. The 2026 season runs from 7 May to 24 September, with a final on 26 September at Enar. Round 18 takes place on 3 September 2026. The competition is open to all — men, women, and juniors — with no membership required. Players may start at any time during the day, with a recommended group start at 13:00. Rounds must be completed so that a photo of the completed scorecard is received by 20:00 on the day. Entry is via Mingolf.se or GIT, preferably the day before or by 17:00 on the day of play. The entry fee is 100 SEK per Thursday round, payable by Swish to Lars Melin (073-647 48 51) or Kjell Wallén (070-675 26 90). The 100 SEK contribution goes towards the prize fund. Players must complete the scorecard, ensuring at least the marker's score is recorded, then sign it, take a photo, and send it to Kjell Wallén (070-675 26 90) or Lars Melin (073-647 48 51) for confirmation. A minimum of three starters is required for a valid round. The series uses non-handicap-qualifying strokeplay, but players may optionally register their results on mingolf.se after the round. The overall series ranking is based on the 10 best rounds from the 21 weekly events plus the final. Points are awarded as follows: 1st place 22 points, 2nd 20, 3rd 18, 4th 16, 5th 15, 6th 14, etc., with any additional participants receiving 1 point. The club shop is open on Thursdays with sales available. Full results and order of merit standings are available on the club website under Anmälan/Resultat or in the golf calendar.
