Golf Bluegreen Niort-Romagné

Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France

Golf Bluegreen Niort-Romagné is an 18-hole course located near the center of Niort in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. Opened in 1982, the course is situated on relatively flat terrain, making it accessible to golfers of all skill levels from beginners to experienced players. The layout is divided into two distinct sections. The opening six holes are positioned within Niort's hippodrome and present the course's greatest technical challenge, featuring narrow fairways and water hazards. Notable among these is the 4th hole, where the green sits between a river and pond. The remaining 12 holes wind through bocage countryside and offer a more relaxed setting. Several par-5s provide opportunities for longer hitters to demonstrate their driving distance. The course is characterized by water features and strategically positioned bunkers throughout. It hosts approximately 40 competitions annually during the season, offering challenge to competitive golfers. Both golf carts and pull carts are prohibited on the course, with tee shots required from designated mat areas on equipped holes.
