Shop's Autumn Competitions

Shop's Autumn Competitions is a series of individual golf competitions held at Vadstena Golfklubb. The event is open to all golfers, including visiting players who pay the applicable green-fee for 9 or 12 holes. Players start at any time during the day and choose their playing partners. The entry fee is 50 SEK per person, which goes towards prizes in the form of shop gift vouchers. Registration is by drop-in at the shop during opening hours, or by SMS to Joakim at 0702-111483 if playing before or after shop opening hours. Results are reported by submitting scorecards to the shop after play or by SMS by 20:00. The competition is played over 9 or 12 holes (holes 1-9 or 1-12) using Point Bogey scoring. Men play from tees 58/53 and women from tees 53/50/45. Senior men (+70) may play from tee 50. Prizes are awarded based on the number of participants: 1 prize for 6 or fewer, 2 prizes for 7-12, 3 prizes for 13-17, 4 prizes for 18-24, 5 prizes for 25-30, 6 prizes for 31-36, 7 prizes for 37-42, and so on. In the event of a tie, the player with the lower handicap wins. Prize money is credited to the player's shop account.
