Bondhay Golf Club and Academy

Derbyshire, England

Bondhay Golf Club is located at the meeting point of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and South Yorkshire, nestled in the picturesque Derbyshire countryside. The club features 27 holes across two courses: the challenging 18-hole Devonshire Course and a 9-hole par-3 Academy Course, catering to golfers of all abilities. The Devonshire Course is characterized by a demanding layout that tests every aspect of a golfer's game. The course features trees lining many holes, large bunkers, and several ponds, requiring strategic tee shots and accurate play. The terrain is defined by excellent drainage, making it playable year-round despite challenging weather conditions. Notable features include the floodlit Trackman Range, which provides advanced tracking technology for practice. The course is well-maintained with particular attention to green conditions. Visitors consistently praise the layout's difficulty and strategic design, noting that success requires straight driving and thoughtful course management. The club welcomes societies and visitors year-round, offering seasonal packages and bespoke group arrangements. Facilities extend beyond golf to include a restaurant, bar, putting green, and a recently renovated function suite accommodating up to 250 people for events.
