The Golden Flag (Le Drapeau d'or) is the annual 4-player team golf tournament hosted by Club de Golf & Curling de Thetford Inc, now in its third edition. The event takes place on August 13, 2026, at the Club's 18-hole course in Thetford Mines, Quebec. Entry is $225 CAD per person (taxes included), or $900 per foursome. Registration opens on June 10, 2026, and continues until all available foursomes are filled. The entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, a Desjardins insulated gift bag, a cocktail with gourmet bites, and evening drinks (wine, beer, and cocktails). The tournament features $15,000 in prizes. A friendly competitive element has been added this year, allowing participants to measure their skills in a stableford competition. The event is followed by a cocktail reception with gourmet food. Payment can be made online or by cheque payable to Golf & Curling Thetford.
