The 104th Annual Northwest Amateur Tournament is an individual strokeplay event held at Spencer Golf and Country Club in Spencer, Iowa, from Thursday, July 30 to Sunday, August 2, 2026. Open to all amateur golfers, the tournament features seven flights (Championship Flight plus six additional flights) with no handicap requirement. Participants play 36 holes over the first three days (two 18-hole rounds with one day off). A cut is made after Saturday evening, with the top 24 and ties in the Championship Flight advancing to play 36 holes on Sunday (72-hole total), while the other six flights play 18 holes on the final day (54-hole total). All players compete from the white tees, except Championship Flight players who play from the blue tees for the final 36 holes. Registration is online via Golf Genius, opening June 18, 2026 at 7:00 AM Central Time. The entry fee is $225 per golfer, which covers all rounds of golf and includes one bag of range balls per qualified day, plus a contribution to the Herman Sani Scholarship Fund. Golf cart rental is available separately at $50 per 18 holes for two players sharing a cart. Registration is first-come, first-served with no holding spots, and the tournament has sold out in as little as 24 minutes in recent years.
