2026 Groesbeck Golf Championship

The 2026 Groesbeck Golf Championship is a 2-day, 36-hole stroke play amateur tournament held at Groesbeck Golf Course in Lansing, MI, on July 25-26, 2026 (with a rain date of August 1-2, 2026). The event celebrates the centennial season of the historic municipal course. It features both Handicap and Open divisions, crowning separate net and gross champions. The entry fee is $220, which includes two rounds of 18 holes with a cart, lunch at the turn on both days, and a centennial swag bag with a t-shirt. Players must hole out every putt and follow USGA Rules of Golf. Tournament handicaps are required for net competition eligibility. Tee assignments are based on age and gender: Men 49 and younger play from the black tees, Men 50+ from the blue tees, Men 65+ from the white tees, Women 49 and younger from the yellow tees, and Women 50+ from the red tees. Scores must be recorded live via Squabbit for the leaderboard, and signed scorecards must be returned immediately after each round. In the event of a tie, a sudden-death playoff begins on holes 10 and 18. Registration deadline is July 15, 2026. A minimum of 30 players is required for the event to proceed.
