Greensmere Golf & Country Club

Ontario, Canada

Greensmere Golf & Country Club is a 36-hole championship golf course located in Carp, Ontario, approximately ten minutes west of Kanata. Situated on nearly 400 acres, the facility features two distinct 18-hole courses: the Premiere course, the club's original championship layout, and the Legacy course, a newer design named after golf course designer and owner John Green. Both courses feature bent grass tees, fairways, and greens, with Greensmere's putting surfaces recognized as among the finest in the Ottawa Valley. The courses are designed to accommodate golfers of all skill levels while minimizing slow play. The Premiere course offers a picturesque and relaxing setting, while the Legacy course presents a more demanding challenge with unique fairway configurations, water hazards, and sand bunkers. Set within a tranquil natural landscape, Greensmere serves both competitive and recreational players. The club hosts various tournaments and events throughout the year, including the Keith Charles Annual Black Canadian Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament. The facility includes practice amenities, a pro shop stocking major equipment brands, and dining options, making it suitable for tournament play, membership, and daily green fee rounds.
