The Calgary Municipal Golf Championship is an amateur stroke-play tournament held over two rounds (36 holes total) on August 1 and 2, 2026. Day 1 takes place at Shaganappi Point Golf Course with start times between noon and 2 p.m., and Day 2 is held at Maple Ridge Golf Course with start times between 8 and 10 a.m. The event is open to all golfers aged 18 and older with a valid registered handicap. Players are grouped by handicap and gender, and tees are determined by flight/handicap. The $199 entry fee includes two rounds of golf, 50 range balls at Shaganappi Point, and a meal on Day 2. Registration opens on June 22 at 10 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment must be completed within 24 hours of registration confirmation. Full refunds are available if cancelled before July 10; no refunds are issued after that date. Golf Canada rules apply. All slots have been taken; a waitlist is available.

The course operates with tee times released four days in advance at 9 a.m., allowing golfers to book online. Maple Ridge serves as a community golf facility operated by the City of Calgary, offering cart, scooter, and club rentals along with group booking options. The course maintains accessibility standards and provides modern amenities including a clubhouse and a dedicated golf app for booking and scoring.
