Craignure Golf Club

Argyll and Bute, United Kingdom

Craignure Golf Club is a links course situated on the shore of Scallastle Bay on the Isle of Mull, approximately one mile north of the ferry port at Craignure. Originally established in 1895, the course was revived in 1980 following a period of closure. The layout was redesigned during the 2012 season from an 18-hole configuration to a simpler 9-hole design with 9 tees. The course is characterized by its scenic coastal setting with expansive views, playing across the shoreline terrain of Scallastle Bay. The links-style design reflects the traditional Scottish golf course aesthetic typical of the region. The course operates on an honesty box principle, with no requirement for pre-booking, though visitors should verify the fixture list to avoid conflicts with club competitions. Known for its outstanding visual appeal and dramatic landscape, the course offers players a distinctive experience combining challenging links golf with panoramic views of the Mull coastline. Printed scorecards including a course map are available at the clubhouse.
