The Wednesday Invitational is a weekly individual stableford competition held at Seabrook Golf Club. The event is open to all golfers holding a GA handicap, including visitors and non-members. Members and visitors pay an entry fee of $10, which is paid at the Pro Shop. Visitors entering the competition pay no green fee. The competition runs throughout the year, with tee-off times typically between 7:30am and 9:45am, varying with the seasons. During summer (October to March, daylight saving time), a 9-hole open twilight competition with a BBQ meal is also held on Wednesday afternoons starting from 4:00pm, with separate entry fees ($10 for members, $15 for non-members). Prizes are awarded to the winner in the form of Pro Shop account credit, vouchers, or other prizes, with additional prizes for nearest the pin and down-the-line competitions. All players must hold a valid GA handicap to enter.

Seabrook Golf Club is an 18-hole course located in Wynyard, Tasmania, with a distinctive two-part design reflecting its historical development. Originally established in 1923 as a nine-hole layout on sand dunes at East Wynyard, the course was expanded in the 1960s with an additional nine holes built on river flats intersected by Seabrook Creek. This expansion created two contrasting playing environments offering unique challenges characteristic of their respective landscapes. In 2023, the course underwent significant restructuring and was reconfigured to an 11-hole layout. The dual terrain—comprising both elevated sand dune holes and flatter river valley holes—provides variety in difficulty and strategic play. The setting encompasses natural water features including Seabrook Creek's meandering path through the property. The club hosts regular competitions including monthly medals, invitational events, and weekly competitions for both nine-hole and eighteen-hole formats. The facility includes a pro shop offering lessons, club fittings, and equipment services, along with newly installed golf simulator bays available for booking.
