Great Cove Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course located in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, situated in the Northern Appalachian Mountains of Fulton County. The course was designed by renowned architect Ed Ault and features 6,567-6,780 yards with a par of 71. The original nine holes opened in 1965, while the back nine were constructed in the early 1990s. The front nine plays long and open, while the back nine is tighter and more strategic, featuring rolling hills, water hazards, and strategically placed bunkers that challenge golfers of various skill levels. The course is characterized by rolling terrain and scenic mountain views throughout the layout. With a course rating of 70.9 and slope rating of 115-118, Great Cove presents a moderately challenging test of golf. The facility includes a driving range and practice green to accommodate golfers before and after their rounds. The course operates year-round weather permitting, with peak season typically occurring from April through October.
