U.S. Adaptive Open

National championship for golfers with physical, sensory, or intellectual impairments, organised by the USGA and hosted at Woodmont Country Club, Rockville, Maryland. 54 holes of stroke play with a field of 96 players. Open to male and female professional and amateur golfers with a Handicap Index of 36.4 or less and an eligible impairment confirmed by a WR4GD Pass. Players compete for an overall champion title plus men's and women's medals in eight impairment categories: Arm Impairment, Intellectual Impairment, Leg Impairment, Multiple Limb Amputee, Neurological Impairment, Seated Players, Short Stature, and Vision Impairment. Multiple sets of tees are utilised. Carts are permitted for all players and caddies.
