5th U.S. Adaptive Open

National championship organised by the USGA for male and female professional and amateur golfers with physical, sensory, or intellectual impairments. Open to players with a Handicap Index of 36.4 or lower who hold a WR4GD Pass confirming an eligible impairment. The championship is contested over 54 holes of stroke play with a field of 96 players. Held at Woodmont Country Club, Rockville, Maryland. In addition to an overall champion, men's and women's medals are awarded in eight Impairment Categories: Arm Impairment, Intellectual Impairment, Leg Impairment, Multiple Limb Amputee, Neurological Impairment, Seated Players, Short Stature, and Vision Impairment. Multiple sets of tees are utilised, and carts are permitted for all players and caddies.
