The Fort Benning 2026 CG Golf Scramble is a four-person team scramble competition held at the Fort Benning Golf Course. The winter shotgun start for the December 18 event is at 12:00 PM. The entry fee is $40 per person if registered in advance, or $45 per person on the day of the event. The fee includes the green fee, a single double-rider cart, and prizes. Teams must sign up early to secure the advance rate. Lunch is not included but can be purchased at the Golf Pro Shop. The course is open to the public, and visitors are welcome. Fort Benning Golf Course, established in 1923, is a full-service military golf facility located on Main Post, approximately one mile from I-185. The course is open to the public and offers affordable rates with various membership options available. The facility features a complete pro shop with equipment and special ordering services, handicap services from the Georgia State Golf Association, and instruction from a Class A PGA Professional. The course includes a driving range, putting area, and practice green with bunkers. Fort Benning offers competitive pricing with weekday specials, including nine holes for $20 or 18 holes for $30 (Monday-Thursday), and discounted rates for active-duty military. The course hosts monthly CG Golf Scrambles with shotgun starts, offering both competitive and recreational play opportunities. Additional amenities include Jack's 19th Hole Clubhouse, which serves as a bar and event venue accommodating up to 15 guests. The property also features the Patton Recreation Area, which includes 18-hole disc golf and foot golf courses, fishing at Armory Pond, and fitness trails spanning up to 2.5 miles through wooded terrain. Tee times are recommended, and gate passes are available for visitors without military access.
