Race to España is a 2-man team scramble strokeplay competition held at Botkyrka Golfklubb on Sunday, 2 August 2026. The event offers participants a chance to win a dream trip to Spain. Entry fee is 395 SEK per player. The best pair qualifies directly for the final in Spain at the five-star Fairplay Golf & Spa Resort, including flights, accommodation, transfers, golf, and breakfast. Players must have a handicap of no more than 54.0 (with men's maximum handicap allowance of 36.0 and ladies' maximum handicap allowance of 40.0). A minimum of 7 out of 10 shots must be played by each player. At least 8 registered rounds in the last 365 days are required to be eligible for prizes. A minimum of 7 team prizes are awarded per event. Players can enter multiple times but can only win one trip per person. Registration is binding, and medical certificates are required for cancellations. The event takes place on Sunday, 2 August 2026, with registration from 06:30, gathering at 07:55, and cannon start at 08:30. All players must check in no later than 35 minutes before start. Participants must be 18 years or older to win the trip. Tee times can be adjusted for players aged 65+ with a handicap over 10, and no handicap requirement for those aged 70+. An additional nearest-to-the-hole competition is available for 100 SEK per person.
