Golf du Stade Français - Courson

Essonne, France

Golf du Stade Français Courson is an 36-hole championship course situated on over 110 hectares in Essonne, approximately 35 kilometers south of Paris Orly airport. Designed by renowned architect Robert Von Hagg and inaugurated in June 1991, the course features eight lakes integrated throughout the layout, creating a challenging and scenic environment. The course offers multiple playing options through six different 18-hole combinations and four distinct 9-hole configurations (Green, Orange, Black, and Lilac), allowing varied experiences for different skill levels. The facility includes extensive practice amenities: a 60-station practice range with 12 covered bays, two putting greens totaling 2,000 square meters, and a 15-meter bunker with varied lie conditions. Recognized as one of Europe's premier courses, Golf du Stade Français Courson hosted French Open qualifications for 12 years and is listed among the world's finest courses by Rolex rankings. The course accommodates both casual and competitive play, with professional instruction available through two certified instructors and a junior golf school. Additional facilities include a full-service restaurant, seminar rooms, pro shop, and sauna facilities.
