The 9 Hole Open Scramble is a weekly recurring golf event held at Austin Bayou Golf Course and RV Park in Danbury, TX. The event takes place every Friday at 5:00 PM during the season (March through October 2026). It is a 9-hole scramble format competition. Players must register at the pro shop before playing. The event is open to the public; visitors are welcome to enter. Standard course rates apply for 9-hole play with or without a cart ($20.30 with cart, $28.50 walking on weekends; $23.15 with cart, $14.95 walking on weekdays). All players must have collared shirts, and no steel spikes or boots are allowed on the course. Groups of six or more are not permitted. Single players may be asked to pair up with other singles. Golf carts rented by players become the responsibility of the renter. Slower players shall allow faster players to play through if at least one green and fairway ahead is open. All divots and ball marks shall be repaired.
