Weekly Golf

Veckogolfen is a weekly strokeplay net competition held every Wednesday at Karlshamns Golfklubb's Gamla Banan from May 6 to August 19, 2026, excluding weeks 27 and 28. The season concludes with a final on September 12, 2026. Players may choose their own partner (Valfri Start Och Partner) and start time. The event is divided into two handicap classes: A-class (handicap +8 to 13.4) and B-class (handicap 13.5 to 36.0), with men and women competing together in the same class. The competition is open to all, including guests who pay the regular greenfee and a start fee of 60 SEK payable via Swish on the day of play. Registration is done via Min Golf. Players must complete at least 6 rounds to be counted in the Order of Merit, where the 6 best scores count toward a points table (20-15-10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1). The top 9 in each class qualify for the final. Weekly prizes (value checks for the shop) are awarded after rounds 8 and 14. A new feature for 2026 is an Eclectic competition, where the best score on each hole across all rounds is combined for a lowest net 18-hole score, with prizes to 1st and 2nd in each class. Results are submitted on signed scorecards and published on the club website. The event is handicap-qualifying.
