Golfköpingsmästaren (Golfköping Championship) 2026 is a multi-venue strokeplay competition across 9 Golfköpingsklubb member courses in the Jönköping area. Hooks Golfklubb hosts Week 29 (late July) of the series. The event is open to all golfers who are members of a Golfköpingsklubb or visitors from outside clubs. Players book their own tee times via Min Golf or Sweetspot. Participants play when they choose during the week, with only their best score per week counting. Competitions are divided into A, B, and C classes based on handicap (no Open class). The top 50 in each class qualify for the Order of Merit, and the top 100 overall (including ties) on the Order of Merit qualify for the final on August 15, 2026, at Sand GC. Entry fees: 50 SEK for home course play (for members with unlimited rights), 400 SEK (350 SEK greenfee + 50 SEK start fee) for other courses. Junior golfers up to age 16 pay 50 SEK regardless of course. Junior golfers aged 17-21 at non-hosting clubs pay 200 SEK. Prizes consist of Golfköping gift vouchers redeemable at all participating club shops/counters. Prize winners must attend the final to receive their prizes.

Hooks Golfklubb is a 36-hole golf facility located in Hok, Sweden, comprising two 18-hole courses: the Parkbana and Skogsbana. The club was established and joined the Swedish Golf Federation in 1941 as member number 26. The Parkbana is described as an open course running alongside Hookasjön (Lake Hookas), offering scenic water views. The Skogsbana is a technical layout traversing a natural forest environment, presenting contrasting playing characteristics between the two courses. The clubhouse is housed in a renovated historic building called "the old lodge," featuring a golf center, changing rooms, sauna, pro shop, and Hooks Bistro restaurant.
