The Praforst Open is held on 6 August 2026 as part of the Offene Golfwoche 2026 (Open Golf Week 2026) at Golfclub Hofgut Praforst e.V. in Hünfeld. The golf week runs from 2 to 9 August 2026, featuring five tournaments: Expert Golf Trophy (2 Aug), Captains-Cup Scramble (5 Aug), Praforst Open (6 Aug), 30 Jahre Atzert: Weber Turnier (7 Aug), and Preis des Vorstands (9 Aug). The event is open to all golf enthusiasts, both members and guest players. Guests and VCG members receive a 50% green fee discount on tournament days and free-play days. A 'Best Of Five' special competition counts the best three tournament results, with Brutto Champions (gross champions) for men and women honoured at the end. Registration is via PC Caddie or directly at the club secretariat (06652-9970).
